Hratch Gaydzagian is a talented individual with a diverse range of artistic skills. He is a skilled singer, dancer, and actor, known for his performances in various cultural and social gatherings within the Lebanese-Armenian community. His journey in the arts started at an early age, encouraged by his parents and friends.
As a singer, Hratch began his formal music education at the Hamazkayin Beirut P. Ganatchian Conservatory and continued his studies with Ms. T.Tekeyan. He also studied Arabic music at the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music for four years. His repertoire includes performances in Arabic, Armenian, English, Greek, Spanish, and Italian, covering various genres such as cultural, country, folkloric, and love songs. His talent has taken him to many countries with Armenian Lebanese communities, including the Middle East, Gulf Region (especially Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, and Qatar), Europe (France, Holland, Sweden, and Cyprus,London), Canada (Montreal and Toronto),and Australia(Sydney and Melbourne)
Hratch achieved a significant milestone when he had the honor of performing on an international celebrity cruise, as well as at international Armenian Festivals in Canada and Australia. These experiences were turning points in his career, allowing him to showcase his talents to a global audience. These events brought together people from all corners of the world, providing him with a unique opportunity to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Before pursuing singing, Hratch was a member of the ”Hamazkayin” Knar Dance group for eight years, performing in various shows both in Lebanon and abroad. He also danced in the Baalbeck International Festival alongside the famous Lebanese singer Feyrouz in 1998. Later on, he joined the "Rimah" group and participated in cultural celebrations and beauty contests in Lebanon and Dubai. In 2001, he was invited to perform in "Mansour Rahbani's Al Moutanabi theatrical dance show in Dubai, where he showcased an Armenian folkloric song that delighted the audience.
In addition to his singing and dancing endeavors, Hratch has also been involved in acting. Notably, he played a role in the first Lebanese-Armenian television film titled "Lese Tsayne Serdit."
Hratch firmly believes that singing, dancing, and acting are interconnected and complement each other on stage. This belief is evident in his performances, where he often dances alongside the audience, creating a unique and enjoyable celebration experience. His versatile skills and passion for the arts have made him well-known within the Armenian Diaspora and beyond.
